The staff was very friendly and understanding. I mistaken the dates and she fix it for me without any fees. Spotless. The building was a museum before, so the renovation to became a hotel is very interesting. Amazing and central location.

The location is absolutely perfect! I like the atmosphere of this old hotel and the approach for its renovation! The old style lift was great and there is a small museum on the ground floor of the hotel. My loft room was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the main road and the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location!! Could walk to the Obelisk and Casa Rosada. There's a great coffee shop close by as well. Architecture style of the hotel is very interesting, with the old elevator! The room had many outlets and lights and was clean and comfortable. The receptionist guy was great.

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to subway, shopping and attractions. The building and rooms feel very historic. Especially the elevator. Staff are attentive and ready to help. I have stayed here several times.

This hotel is truly exceptional, located in one of the most enchanting destinations on Earth. Its location is superb, the staff is highly professional and attentive, and the cleanliness and comfort are outstanding. Without a doubt, it has been one of the most remarkable travel experiences of my life. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! Rather than merely staying in a typical hotel, you will have the unique opportunity to reside in a historic castle. I extend my deepest gratitude to "La Fresque" for providing such extraordinary and unforgettable moments.

Excellent location next to the 9 de julio avenue - despite this, there was little noise from outside in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and quite quirky (bedroom in a mezzanine, separate from a living area).

Amazing value for money. We paid 31usd for one night. The location is excellent. Near two metro stops and walkable to most key sights in downtown BA. It is old and basic but is perfect for if you just need a bed and a base. Despite this, it also has a lot of charm and character. Staff very helpful.

Fantastic place to stay in B.A. The hotel is right in the centre, next to the underground, a few minutes walk from the main attractions, café Tortoni, and a Hop on bus stop. My room 110, was lovely, although as many, only an indoor facing window so although no direct daylight it also meant sleeping well ! Bed and bedding very comfortable and sockets everywhere for charging appliances. The bathroom was good, clean, and fabulous shower! TV and excellent WiFi. During my stay I met 5 different receptionist, all of whom were helpful, professional, friendly and efficient. Also, my room was much, much cheaper than I had thought, basically because if you pay in local money it will depend on the exchange rate you found, which is very confusing .... officially the US$ was 163 but in (an official) exchange place in town you can get 260, or up to 310 ARS !! My room basically became almost half the price.
